Tetris, the addictive video game that arrived from the USSR.
The popular electronic puzzle was created 25 years ago by Russian engineer Alexei Pajitnov. It has sold 70 million copies and has influenced art and music.

Tetris has been one of my favorite games. I met him about ten years ago, after the Nintendo Game Boy bring him to Spain. It would be back in 98 or so.
Every day I was beating my own record and also challenged others to beat.
(which nobody could, hehe).
I have tried in all formats, gameboy, key chain, in PC and Sega Mega Drive.
On paper perhaps not very attractive, but the screen is a simple almost irresistible challenge.
And there are the numbers: when all their versions, Tetris has sold over 70 million copies worldwide, has influenced the architecture, art and music, also has received several Guinness record and is often voted one of the best video games of all time.
Also in the course of my life have fallen into my hands other hobbies, such as puzzles, logic games wooden Rubik cube (which only make him face the same color) or do cross stitch (which although not is also created is addictive and improve yourself every time you want to do more complicated), but like Tetris, none has combined both.
