Cinema Paradiso

Cinema Paradiso is an Italian film by Giuseppe Tornatore in 1988. This film won the Oscar to the Best Film in no-English language of 1989 and a Golden Globe in the same category. He also won the special jury prize of the Cannes Film Festival the same year. The film is a tribute to the genre of the cinema. The long film is a sentimental portrait of post-war Italy and a declaration of love to the movies.
This film is the sum of three crucial features in the development of a film, is equipped with a thorough history, which entails a thorough analysis, and these two factors are expressed with extensive technical versatility in performance.

The movie has a touching story that relies heavily on a formidable management of photography and sound. It is also a tribute to old movies (since there are dozens of references in images and dialogue from Jean Renoir to Charles Chaplin), the love for cinema, its history and techniques ... but above all is a reflection on the strength of will.
